Become an ADVENTURE Capitalist
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?

You may be familiar with the term "venture capital." If not, it is cash invested into a promising new business or used for expansion. Most of the time, "venture capitalists" are investing money belonging to someone else.
On the other hand, an "Angel Investor" is someone who invests their own finances in these opportunities. "Angels" are often found among the business owner's friends and family. They may provide cash to get the business off the ground or supply on-going support.
The opportunity we're presenting is to bring the Gospel message to people who have never heard it clearly. We are asking you to become an "Adventure Capitalist." There are three ways you can invest:

monthly supportThis is how our day-to-day operating expenses are met. They are set by World Missions and re-evaluated each term.
|
Lump Sum cash giftsThese gifts help make up any short-fall in our monthly giving and give us the ability to meet unexpected needs during our term.
|
Special projectsThese are directed gifts to specific areas of ministry. They are usually much larger and long-range in terms of completion.

about our budget
AG World Missions operates a little differently than some other missions organizations. It sets the budget, but the individual missionaries are responsible for raising it. Our supporters can come from anywhere--private businesses; individuals; churches (irrespective of affiliation). We've been on the field for a decade now, and a great majority (almost all) of our first supporters (friends and family) are still supporting us! The budget consists of two parts:
cash(1) Personal Cash-Related Expenses (One-Time Only). These items cover the basic expenses for getting to the field and getting settled upon arrival along with other one-time expenses.
|
monthly(2) Monthly Expenses. This cover amounts related to our personal living expenses; items related to our work on the field; and finally, items that help cover regional, area, or field specific projects.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
In addition to the one-time cash items and monthly support, we also have "special projects" needing funding. Some of these projects are on-going (like sponsoring a training or a river trip) while others are to purchase equipment (like a more powerful fuel-efficient motor for our boat) or go toward building projects.
